Off Piste Ski Camp, Sainte Foy

Off piste ski camp in Sainte Foy, France

Sainte Foy is famous for its superb off-piste and we wanted to showcase the best of our resort, help you improve your technical skills and mountain awareness. So we set up an off piste ski camp. We have two workshops planned for two unforgettable weeks, (w/c 23rd January & 6th March) in 2021.

The concept

This tailor made off-piste ski course is run by two of Sainte Foy’s most renowned ski instructors, Sonnie and Chanse Devey. Twinn Peaks have an immense amount of knowledge that they will share with you during this week long course.

The week is designed to help develop your off-piste technique as well as your understanding for safety on the mountain, explore new places and have fun.

Twinn Peaks ski school

Twinn Peaks offer an unrivalled service both on and off the snow.
You will spend short evening sessions planning the following days adventure, this way you will be excited for the fun you have in store the following day!

Unrivaled local knowledge

Chanse and Sonnie grew up in Sainte Foy and know the resort and surrounding back country better than anyone in the valley. Countless days spent through childhood and adolescence searching for the best snow,
partnered with their enthusiasm and love for skiing, and you have the perfect week of guiding lined up.

The Accommodation

SFU have excellent accommodation in traditional chalets close to the pistes, we have therefore selected the superb Chalet Le Bonhomme de Neige to host our off-piste weeks.

“This 6 bedroom stand alone chalet is close to the pistes, in the superb resort of Sainte Foy Tarentaise. You will find lots of space for families to spend quality time whilst enjoying the superb views of Mont Pourri.”

“Once the sun goes down, lose yourself in the open fire or dine whilst watching the lights of the piste bashers across the valley.”

The Food

You will get a hearty breakfast each morning with at least one hot option, a selection of healthy cereals, fresh fruit, pastries and bread along with plenty of coffee and a selection of teas.

While you are out enjoying the Workshop, a delicious cake will be prepared for you and left along with tea and coffee so that you have something to enjoy when you return to the chalet.

Finally, we provide evening meals 6 nights of the week.
One evening you will be able to enjoy a traditional meal for our area where you will indulge on melting cheese, sizzling meats, fluffy potatoes and crusty bread.
Five evenings we will host a 3 course dinner cooked by the fabulous MattyG Cooks and served by one of our fabulous hosts.

Matt is a Sainte Foy resident and knows a thing or two about cooking.
Matt has worked in some of the world’s best restaurants such as The Fat Duck (England), Cracco (Milan), River Cottage (England) and Royal Mail Hotel(Australia) to name but a few.

We are lucky enough to take advantage of his cooking quite often as we live opposite, now you get the pleasure too.
